Snowman Quilt is Done!

After starting this 60 x 60 quilt 9 years ago, I finished it tonight!

Fabric and pattern: "Snow Wonderland" by Whimsicals for Red Rooster.

I used the panto, "Flurry" by Lisa Thiessen from Threadsongs.

Backing is primitive snowmen on a field of grey.

It was 90 degrees today . . .
. . . still, I can't wait to snuggle under this in front of the fire next winter!

  1. Fantastic finish! The pantograph you used is perfect for this quilt.

Chilly, snowy, and downright dreary here today, so your snowman quilt is definitely NOT out of season. As a matter of fact, I have a snowman lap quilt wrapped around my legs as I type this comment. Springtime in the Rockies usually includes a May snowstorm.

  2. I remember those fabrics. I think I have a few in my stash.

  3. I love this Ann. Especially the colors and the snowmen in the borders. I'll have to find that panto, it could be used on so many quilts. I see a flannel quilt in my future using this panto.

  4. Nice finish! It feels so good to finally finish that project that's been hiding.
